I'll probably switch this over to my scraps, but some experimentation has lead me to submit this REDUX version of my most favorited deviation. In hopes of receiving more views and new watchers... I hope it is enjoyed by all.

My intent here, was to submit something more naturalistic, but at the same time maintain the horrific nightmare-ish feel to my favorite piece. The original submission can be found here: The Spider's Burrow

I love it...the shadow really works, and webs are always creepy, especially old ones :)

I think this is probably one of the creepiest spider photos I've ever seen, and I'm an arachnaphobe. ;P

The whole 'lurking in the distance' thing makes it worse than if it were just a close-up of a spider.
